We are pleased to proudly announce the renewal of our commitment as an active sponsor of PriSLA (Degree and Research Awards on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) for the fourth consecutive year. PriSLA represents a precious offshoot of the "Io Corro con Giovanni" association, dedicated to financing scientific research for the treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and to promoting solidarity actions in support of those affected and their families.
Human relationships at Vuemme have always had fundamental importance beyond business and, when supported by shared values, they also turn into alliances of purpose. This is what happened between Vuemme and a manager of a prestigious dealership that was our client. In addition to the commercial relationships, between these two companies, and through two of their key figures, a commitment of common solidarity was born aimed at "Io Corro con Giovanni", an association committed to the fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and to raising funds for research on the disease . The PriSLA Consortium was born from the Association, to whose establishment Dr. Giovanni Longoni, suffering from ALS, contributed. It awards prizes in his memory for degree theses and research by young scientists focused on ALS. Through donations from private individuals and companies, including ours, PriSLA is able to offer substantial scholarships to young undergraduates from universities throughout Italy whose theses, focused on the delicate topic of ALS, have been selected by a team of experts.
Through funding, PriSLA will substantially contribute to the advancement of ALS research and the training of a new generation of experts dedicated to the fight against this disease. Vuemme is grateful for the opportunity to make a difference and look to the future with hope for a cure.
